Hello there! And welcome to my blog!

As of Friday, October 3rd, 2014 I can officially say I own a little pink piece of the American dream. That’s right folks, I will be a full fledged home owner. Having not been able to properly sleep for the last few weeks and successfully bitten off anything that might resemble a fingernail I thought it was time to get this blog going.

You may be asking, Why would you want to blog about this? Well, I’ve decided to start blogging about my experience as a first time home buyer for a few reasons: Clearly, any girl’s dream is to have an HGTV show of her own, so that’s #1. Having just experienced purchasing my first home/ income property, I thought it would be fun to share my experiences with everyone I know. The luxury of not having to repeat my stories to friends and family was all too enticing. And my final reason, is I hope someone somewhere takes some small bits of advice, insight, DIY idea, etc away from this and uses it well.

I am not a real estate professional, I am not a legal professional, I’m just a girl with a dream and a Barbie pink dream house to hold it. In a world where paying your rent without having 15 roommates is nothing short of a miracle, I hope this inspires people to put down the latte you just paid $7.00 for and invest in your future. This could be my best idea or my worst, but, I sure hope you enjoy the ride.
